United Airlines to Charge Overweight Passengers for Extra Seat

Last week United Airlines announced that it will enforceA a policy charging passengers who are overweight to pay for a second seat.

Apparently, the people who cannot lower their armrests around their bodies or who cannot buckle their seatbelts without needing a seatbelt extender A will have to abide by this new policy.A An option instead of buying a second seat would be to sit in first class. Once again, that's forcing overweight passengers to spend more money than the people who do fit in the seats.
