United Airlines to Charge Overweight Passengers for Extra Seat

Last week United Airlines announced that it will enforceA a policy charging passengers who are overweight to pay for a second seat.
Apparently, the people who cannot lower their armrests around their bodies or who cannot buckle their seatbelts without needing a seatbelt extender A will have to abide by this new policy.A An option instead of buying a second seat would be to sit in first class. Once again, that's forcing overweight passengers to spend more money than the people who do fit in the seats.

Squishing myself in between crowds of people on the E-train of the Green T-Line in Boston, Massachusetts, I can't help but spot the people in bright blue jackets that are accented with lemon yellow stripes and embroidery.
