picMexico's economy is suffering right now. Why? The swine flu scare. Even though the swine flu scare happened about a month ago, people are still worrying about it and are, therefore, no longer willingly traveling to Mexico. Part of the reason is because the Center for Disease control had a ban on nonessential travel to Mexico. However, this ban was lifted on May 15th--which was not too long ago. Tourist attractions such as historic sites, restaurants, and museums are gaining their business back, but it has been a tough month for these businesses that depend on the tourists' money.
