As part of a student's senior year at Northeastern University, the students must complete a Capstone Design project. This project is considered as a culmination of our knowledge in the area of our studies, as it integrates classroom knowledge with real world problems. Qatar Airways will be showing their Boeing 787 Dreamliner at the Farnborough International Air Show in the U.K. The Farnborough International Air Show is taking place from July 9th until the 15th in Hampshire, England this year. The show is a seven-day international trade fair in the aerospace industry.
This will be a global unveiling of the 787 by Qatar Airways. It will be the first of 60 aircraft that Qatar Airways has ordered. They are expecting to have five 787s by the end of 2012. Qatar Airways has a fleet of 109 aircraft and its hub is in Doha.
