Actually, the Hyatt Regency in Maui is for birds and humans alike.A During a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, my husband and I spent four nights at this wonderful hotel.
This hotel had many amazing amenities.A There were cave connected pools, a 150 foot waterslide, a multitude of restaurants, an on-site spa, and more.A From our room, we could enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean.A Plus, it was located along the Ka’anapali beach path, which allowed access to many restaurants and shops.
So, why is this hotel for the birds?A That can be answered by taking the wildlife tour offered at the hotel or by reading the article on our sister site, Feathers Fins and Fur.

That is one of the most colorful and exotic birds I’ve ever seen. Love the spiked look.
I think just about any hotel in Hawaii has an over abundance of birds. Hyatt’s however, seem to top them all. I recently stayed at the Hyatt on Kaua’i and we had some of the most adventurous birds I’ve ever seen, attempting to eat of our breakfast plates…while still sitting at the table! I suppose when there’s an over abundance of food, there will be an over abundance of birds. Fun, when you’re not trying to eat the same food they are.
